Yves Saint Laurent Beaute has chosen actor Garret Hedlund as its new ambassador for the men’s fragrance, La Nuit De L’Homme. The first ad campaign will appear in U.S. magazines in June.

Hedlund’s movie career began when he was 18 years old, and played opposite Brad Pitt in the 2004 film, Troy. His latest films include Country Strong in 2011, where he played opposite Gwyneth Paltrow; and On the Road, which debuted at the Cannes Film Festival. This year, he will appear in Inside Llewelyn Davis; and the independent feature, Lullaby.
